After nine years living overseas, now with a fast-growing 3-year-old son who’s getting close to school age, after a catastrophic betrayal by someone close to me in business in February, and two years of continued challenges and political upheaval in Asia, Jam and I have finally made the decision to move our young family to the United States — which offers our son tremendous advantages.

Besides, America needs us. And we need family. Time to build a new kingdom in the land of my birth.
