We believe deeply in the integral importance of personal development, and we strive through ALL of our programs — online group training, one-on-one coaching, and communities — to create a supportive, nurturing environment where our members can grow and learn not only as business owners, but as individuals.
This is why we are busily translating the ubiquitous ‘Hero’s Journey’ framework into a practical blueprint for personal growth and accelerated learning.
The Hero’s Journey is a storytelling and learning framework that traces the mythological hero’s footsteps from mediocrity to mastery – from the Call to Adventure to the Road of Trials — a journey often through the Underworld, conquering great setbacks and being recast with a new, greater Identity, with new wisdom and insights to share with his or her community.
We base our research largely around the work of the late, great American mythologist Joseph Campbell, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson (professor emeritus of psychology at the University of Toronto), and clinical psychiatrist M. Scott Peck (author of The Road Less Travelled).
The HERO Foundry is devoted to translating the academic work of these wise teachers, and developing practical tools designed to help young leaders explore the world around them, and empower you to overcome great adversity, slaying your own inner dragons, and navigating towards your goals and your vision for an ideal future.
Our ultimate Vision is to provide a startup incubator environment that empowers entrepreneurs to turn their dreams into reality. We believe that anyone with the drive and determination can succeed in the world of business, and it is our Mission to provide the tools, resources, and support necessary to make that happen.
In the coming years, we will work with partner VC firms to provide even more opportunities for our incubator companies and help them grow and succeed. On that path, it is also our conviction to spread entrepreneurial education to millions, not only through our own training programs, but also through partnerships with educational institutions and other organizations.
Our ultimate goal is to create a ripple effect of success, not just within our incubator companies, but throughout the wider world — and especially in how we raise and educate our children. We were originally inspired to develop “The HERO Project” as a life-changing educational legacy for our children and for our family.
We believe that by helping others achieve their goals and generate wealth, and through leading by EXAMPLE, we can ultimately create countless job opportunities and drive positive change in the world.
In addition to our regular programs, we also offer free internship opportunities here in the Philippines, and have provided many hands-on experiences in collaboration with our friends at Courageous Kitchen and Sustainable Philippines. We believe that by investing in the next generation, we can help shape the future and create a brighter tomorrow for us all.
