STEPS TO ACTIVATING YOUR ACCOUNT:
1) Check your email, activate your Workplace account.
You’ll get an email from “HERO” at Workplace to activate your account. Just search your inbox for a message from Cody McKibben with the subject line “HERO invited you to use Workplace”.
2) Upload your profile picture
Please use a real photo of yourself, and keep it professional, so fellow initiates know who they’re talking to.
3) Upload your cover photo
This is your chance to show off a little – feel free to upload a great photo with your family, your work team, your Lambo, or you on your travels.
4) Get the apps on your cell phone
Stay connected 24/7 from anywhere with your fellow Heroes! Download the mobile app simply by searching “Workplace by Facebook” in the Apple Store or Google Play store. This is how you can post your snapshots and videos, and engage with HERO Foundry training content direct from your cell phone.
You can also search for the mobile chat app “Workplace Chat” for iPhone and iPad or for Android, or simply enter your phone # in the sidebar within the desktop Foundry platform to get a text direct to your phone.
5) Post a 2-3 minute video introducing yourself inside the “Foundry Accelerator”
The Accelerator is the first default “group” you will be added to when you activate your account. This is the place for making your first introductions, as well as starting any general conversation topics.
Please post a 2 minute video sharing WHO you are, WHAT you’re working on, and where you are in YOUR journey. (Please make sure you post your intro to the Foundry Accelerator group and not your personal profile page, so we can see it!) When you enter the Accelerator group (previously known as “The Dojo”), you leave your stresses and your ego at the door, everyone is equal here, and everything is on the table. Think of this as the place where you can have a friendly “spar” with your fellow initiates and seek feedback, assistance, and answers to questions you face on YOUR journey.
6) Engage and have fun!
Please watch, read, and comment on OTHER people’s posts in the Foundry Accelerator. You will get out what you put in, so the more you invest in your fellow Heroes, the more good karma you will receive in return.

But we do not condone or officially back any member’s offers here, so swim at your own risk. You’ve been warned.
NO GROUP CREATION
Do NOT create any groups inside of the HERO Foundry Workplace. If you create a group, it will be deleted immediately without warning. If you create more groups, you will be removed from the network, no exceptions. Don’t be that guy. You are not the admin, or the leader here – you are the participant inside of the Foundry, so if you have brilliant ideas for something we’re not already doing, then bring it to Cody and the leadership team first.
